Thank you for being part of our growing community. Tell me where to send your Minis and I'll get them on their way.
A hook is the first line you say at the start of a video. The bit that makes someone stop scrolling.
I'd love three different ones. Three separate ideas, three different angles, not the same clip opened three ways. There are ideas further down if you want a starting point.
Why three: different openings land with different people, so three gives us three real chances rather than one.
B-roll just means clips with no talking. Little one holding the Minis, fingers going along the labels, them in the pram, that sort of thing.
Film it however you normally would, and send as much or as little as feels right.
Why: I cut my own versions from these, so the more raw clips the better.
Send the raw files, not just the finished edit. If you make an edit too, I'd love to see it. Posting it on your own page is completely optional, but always appreciated.
You know your audience better than I do, so treat these as a starting point rather than a brief.
"Why is my baby more interested in clothing tags than the toy?"What to film
"If your baby is obsessed with tags, watch this."
Your little one noticing and exploring the labels. Show the Mini early, and catch your own reaction.
"She kept finding every tag in the house, so I tried this."What to film
The problem first, the Mini within about three seconds, then whatever they actually do with it.
"It's the little labels she notices first."What to film
Right in close on little fingers working along the different labels, the stitching, the shapes and sizes.
"This is what she reaches for again and again."What to film
"The simplest thing ended up being her favourite."
You talking to camera, with some footage over the top. Say what they naturally like about it.
"I've had these three weeks. Here's the honest update."What to film
"Still the one she goes for."
How they've held up after real use and a few washes, and whether it stuck. Say it straight, even if the answer isn't the one I'd hope for.
"The one everyone kept asking me about is back."What to film
"This sold out last time, so I'm not missing it again."
Quick and to the point. Hold up whatever set you have.
The whole idea came from my granny stitching offcuts and clothing labels together for the little ones in her family.
You'll have picked one of the two, and they genuinely feel different in the hand. Worth knowing, because it's the bit parents ask about most.
Original woven labels have a gentle, lightly textured finish that gives tiny hands more to explore.
Silk labels feel smoother and lighter, with a glide that some babies prefer.
Babies are drawn to edges, seams and ribbon. A flat plush surface all feels the same, but a label has structure they can trace, fold and rub between two fingers. That's the whole appeal, and it's why the tag wins every time.
One thing to steer clear of. Please don't say anything about sleep, medical or developmental benefits. They're claims I'm not allowed to make on ads.
Once you've filmed everything, just message me and we'll sort the easiest way to get it across. Sharing a Google Drive folder tends to be simplest for big video files, but if that's not your thing we'll find something that suits you.
Nothing to set up now.
It looks like the link got shortened or copied without the last part. Pop back to my message on Instagram and tap the link there, and this'll open properly.
